A Year in Review: 2018

2018 started slow. The countdown to the new year hit 3, 2, 1, and then just like that I traversed back into my same ol' daily motions. I was optimistic and ready for change come February — the month I sat on my sofa and stared at the ceiling for hours until I could admit that I was getting a little too comfortable with life in LA. In March, I promised myself I wouldn't give into my fears. I daydreamed far too much in April, and in May I didn't think twice as I made a decisions that broke me so much, that I could do nothing but rebuild from there. Beginning in June, the months began to burn by like fire. In July, I packed my life into boxes, hugged my friends goodbye, and drove to Utah. I spent a lot of time alone during August and September. October gave me a social reawakening along with a spark that lit up friendships, new and old. November and December have my heart on the verge of bursting as I reflect on a year with unexpected twists and turns that have made me stronger, wiser, and happier than I've felt in a very long time.

A few more details about 2018:
- Traveled out of state 11 of 12 months of the year
- Made a ridiculous amount of cake & saw improvement with each creation
- Held my best friend's paw and cried way too much when I lost her
- Planned out my life in a van, purchased a teardrop trailer instead, made too much hype about it, and then sold it
- Appeared in 4 magazine issues
- Wrote an outline for my first book
- Made strong connections with friends, new and old
- Rented a rad airbnb in Joshua Tree with all my LA friends to celebrate new beginnings
- Moved to Utah and started my dream job
- Co-hosted the Best Damn Big Bear Campout with mind-blowing success
- Started snowboarding regularly again
- Spent the last week of December on a road trip with someone I can't stop thinking about
- Learned to work less, and enjoy life a little more

Here's to 2018 being much more eventful than I could have ever imagined, and to all of the adventures to come.

Happy New Year to you all ♡!
