Hello there! I'm Jess. I'm 22 years old and I was raised in a small town California desert. Five years ago, I made a leap across the country to attend culinary school. This blog began as a documentation of my schoolwork during my first year. Since then, I've developed an affinity for veganism and a knack for adapting and creating new recipes. I view every edible concoction as a science experiment.

I like to lose myself dancing around the kitchen, but I also find peace near the ocean, on my yoga mat, and on mountaintops. I'm in love with genuine people, creative minds, minimalism, coffee, and the grand outdoors. One day, I'll grow my own food, become a dog-mom, and explore all corners of the earth.
